Peter Oundjian conducts the final Mahler performances of his tenure with one of the most achingly romantic of all symphonies: Mahler’s Ninth. Mahler’s last completed work, it bids farewell to everything he held dear: love, the dances of the central European countryside, the bustle of the big city, and finally to life itself.
