In about two weeks, my new audio book will be available and will be 90 minutes of my dulcet and mellifluous voice 🤓 reading the text of SOLITARY REFINEMENT. My amazing Audivita producer, Mark Shipman, produced this sampler of excerpts from the book. I will post the purchase link as soon as it is available.
Meanwhile, you can also find TrevCo’s new spiral-bound edition of SOLITARY REFINEMENT here.

Very happy to be playing Mathieu Lussier’s ODDBIRD CONCERTO with the Sudbury Symphony Orchestra, led by the very musical and energizing conductor, Michael Hall. I have many friends coming, and I have one pair of comp tickets left. Mathieu wrote this beautiful concerto for me using all of his own remarkable skill and insight as a bassoonist and composer and I love absolutely every note of this work. I have now performed it more frequently than the Mozart Concerto! Here are the final moments of the premiere performance and I hope to see some of you on September 23 in Sudbury! Tickets can be reserved here.
I will be playing the 12 Fantasias by Telemann on October 14 at 2 pm in the historic Rydal Bank Church near Bruce Mines. This will be Blue Bell’s first Fantasias (my beautiful blue bassoon). And the concert will be about one hour including intermission.
